Effective July 1, 2007, the Competency Assessment Form will no longer be used.
Beginning August 1, 2006, program directors should not attach the program level letters of agreement to the PIF for a continued accreditation review. All letters of agreement must be available onsite during the site visit. In addition, letters of agreement must be included in the documents submitted for an application for a new specialty or subspecialty program.
The Residency Review Committee for Internal Medicine (RRC-IM) utilizes the
"Computer
Assisted Accreditation Report" for core internal medicine.
Subspecialty programs submitting a new application , will only complete the Word program information form. Subspecialty programs seeking continued accreditation will be asked to complete the PIF, accessed through the Accreditation Data System (ADS) . Login to ADS using your secured login and password and proceed to the PIF Preparation section.
(The RRC for Family Medicine will review and accredit all
hospice and palliative medicine programs regardless of the sponsoring specialty of the individual program. Click here to view the PIF.)
